i need pumpkin carving ideas.?

i wanna carve my pumpkin so that when moms come with their kids they’ll be mad that something like that is on the porch.
i don’t want people saying "a penis" cause my mom is going to see it. i want something original and funny.
puking pumpkin sounds cool. how would you do disco ball?

save all of the inside of the pupmkin, the carve a "o" mouth. Make it look like the inside of the pumpkin is coming out. Btw, this is called: puking pumpkin, you can google it.

How do you feel when the Celtics creamed the lakers?

I am so happy that they won and they won by about 40 points more than the lakers. I love Celtics, 17th time champions.

I felt as if I wasn’t even watching a real game. As if every play was designed for the Lakers to screw up royally. I’m born and bred in Boston, so naturally, it was the greatest game I’ve ever seen. Undoubtedly, L.A. fans were probably like, "That was the worst game in the history of the Lakers."

I just couldn’t believe how perfect everything was, you know? It was a dream come true for me, having waited over twenty years since celebrating the win that Bird and Company laid into the Houston Rockets.

It was fun to watch.
Sam | Jun 18, 2008

I wish I was in the Garden when it happened. But its still a great feeling watching them win on TV.

I was so happy OMG i hate the LAKERS well just Kobe hes overrated and to into himself. "I can score whenever i want" no he cant also this proved GOOD defense win championships but the celts had GREAT DEFENSE go celts alot more to come
Nate | Jun 18, 2008

OMG! THE BEST GAME I’VE EVER SEEN! GREAT TEAM! I LOVE THEM!…

AND I’M SO GLAD IT WAS SUCH A STUNNING BLOWOUT OF 131-92!!!…YEAH…BABY!!!

C’s DESERVE IT. THEY WORKED VERY HARD AND THEY ARE SO HUMBLE…NOT LIKE THE L’s, WHO THOUGHT THEY WERE INVINCIBLE AND ARE SO COCKY.

Loved every single minute of it.
BurressTD | Jun 18, 2008

Even better than that is looking at all the Laker fans comments now. Shouldve wouldve couldve. whos the best of all time, whos the best franchise yack yack yack..the answer is, was, and always is the Celtics. Its not even close. Birds draft, the Cowens trick by Red A. making everyone think he was worthless, giving away pick 2 for Parish and McHale, the premature cigar trick, on and on and on and on and on. Even Magic agrees..let me repeat that since most Laker fans cant hear and are unable to reason intelligently. E V E N M a g i c agrees with that. Theres one class Laker who is honest and is upfront and tells the truth. I wish Bird and Magic could do it all over again. Two class acts! Oh yes and dont forget, Auerbach earned his titles, while Jackson followed the talent and when it ran out always looks around to see where the next opportunity might come from. Hes about as good a coach as he was a player in NY, backing up Willis Reed.
R H | Jun 21, 2008

It depends to peoples point of view If they think the lakers are a better team, they would feel sorry for them. But if they’re Celtic fans, they’d be proud, happy, and glad.

Go Celtics

hmm.. about 7 of the people that answered this question just jumped on the Celtics bandwagon… Sorry people.. truth hurts..

Why are people saying Stanford beating USC is the biggest upset in history of college football?

People come on now it wasn’t that big of an upset. The bottom of the barrell Pac-10 teams still have a lot of talent it’s just sometimes they don’t tap into it. Anyways everyone with half a brain knows that Appalachian State beating Michigan is the biggest upset in college footbal. So quit asking the dumb question if Stanford vs USC is the biggest upset when it’s not even close too being that big of an upset.

This "Biggest Upset Ever" phrase gets thrown around too much.

I’ll agree that Appalachian State over Michigan was a BIGGER upset than Stanford over USC.

All I know is that when Michigan and USC both lose…. everyone wins.

What? | Oct 07, 2007

It was a big upset, but they are in the Pac 10…so they are familiar with each other…Its bound to happen once in a while…I think App State over Michigan is still the biggest…
Terry C | Oct 07, 2007

I agree with you. Stanford was leading Oregon at halftime, they hung tough with a ranked UCLA, and they beat another 1a team(San Jose state) 38-0. They are a much better team than many people give them credit for. It was a big upset, really threw a wrench in the PAC 10, but App St. rewrote history, and changed the way the voting goes in College Football.
subvet | Oct 07, 2007

Michigan lost on the first game of the season. You can’t know for sure how good a team is going to be until they play some games. They again lost on the second game of the season, which helped lessen the impressiveness of the upset. App. State was a bit underrated… they had won 14 straight going into the game and they won back-to-back national I-AA championships in 2005 and 2006. App State beating Michigan certainly isn’t the biggest upset ever. USC on the other hand has been one of the top teams in the nation for the past couple years while Stanford has been one of the worst teams, and it certainly has shown that they haven’t been tapping into their "talent"… until Saturday’s game, that is.
rath | Oct 07, 2007

I think USC was favored by 41 or so points so I think that’s what people are thinking about in terms of the huge upset, but yeah, the Pac10 does have a ton of talent from top to bottom, they end up playing each other so much that it’s difficult to go undefeated in the conference each year and any one of the teams has a chance to beat you if you don’t prepare for them well enough.
I also don’t buy it was such a huge upset, especially with the way the top 25 has been changing so much and lesser teams are beating almost all of them. Is college football starting to experience parity like the NFL and MLB (at least from a talent perspective)?
Blake B | Oct 07, 2007

Stanford beating anybody is amazing. Their head coach is Jim Hairball, I’m amazed they even found their way to LA. I didn’t get to watch the game, did USC even show up?
stan l | Oct 07, 2007

Because USC was hyped up to be possibly the best college team ever assembled, supposedly unbeatable and now they are just another 1 loss team looking in at the undefeated teams from the outside.
littledel | Oct 07, 2007

I agree. It was still a big upset, but you cannot compare it to App. St. vs. Michigan.
usctrojans13ohiostatebuckeyes | Oct 07, 2007

Dude what are talking about? USC has been deamded the best thing since sliced bread, That’s why they play the games this is huge USC was a 41pt fav at HOME Pom Pom Pete had all the locker room material to get his team ready and they fell flat heck they should have lost to Washington last week at least they could have said it was on the road. Look doest this take them out of the mix for the BCS of course not because Cal is good but there not national champ material, So they have a chance to still win the PAC 10 unlike Mich. which was done right from the start. Look as long as they do not lose another game like the big one vs the Golden Domers they will be around the top 5 and when the SEC finish beating ea other up because no way will LSU beat Fla in a rematch. To answer your question the was huge and I love it Beat Down on Ole SC! Hey Mark May how does that humble pie taste?
lexus23606 | Oct 07, 2007

Its all about the hype of media coverage……everything has to be more complex and spectacular than last time…. next week it’ll be some other game that is the game of "all time".
Frankly, you can have the honor if you want!
joe | Oct 07, 2007

App. state is better than Stanford so IT is the biggest upset! and USC was like #1 (or #2 on the poll) biggest upset i think was USC and stanford. Sorry!
Cloned-guy! | Oct 07, 2007

It may be the biggest upset this week, and that is about all the attention span that the media expects people to have.
Jeff S | Oct 07, 2007

It’s a bigger upset because it turns out Michigan wasn’t a good team this year. Everyone was thinking Michigan was going to be competing for the BCS and then they lost to App State.

Southern Cal has had plenty of time to get things together and they’ve proven how great of a team they are. Then…. POOF a game that they should have completely dominated turned into a loss. Pac 10 is a great conference but they are not amazingly good up and down. There’s no other comparison any of the conferences in the nation where you could compare this game. Duke beating the ACC Champ doesn’t even come close to what happen in the Pac 10.

Freakonomics: explain how the incentives of police depts and public media gave rise to crime rate?

Explain how the incentives of police departments and the public media gave rise to explanations of the rising crime rate in the 1980s that were totally wrong.

I can’t seem to find it in the book

Freakonomics asserts that the reason for DROPPING crime rates in the US was the legalization of abortion in 1973. Basically, Levitt argues that less unwanted children, especially in low-income families, resulted in fewer male youths from low-income families in the following decade, which results in less crime (as a very large part of criminal activity is carried out by young men from low-income families).
